A Place for Political Commentary on local and national issues. The point of view is mine because today neither major political party has America’s best interest at heart. Politicians on both sides of the Isle are corrupt, but even worse, most of them are morally bankrupt. You're welcome to comment.... On the whole, I prefer not to be lectured on patriotism by those who keep offshore mail drops in order to avoid paying their taxes.

Spendthrift Bush has weakened our nation - Republicans have added $2.1 trillion to the national debt in less than 5 years!!!
I believe government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn."
Guess ole GW never read the philosophy he signed up to support!!!
Since George W. Bush took office, he and the Republican-run Congress have surpassed adding $2.1 trillion to the national debt. That is one quarter of our country's total national debt in less five years. George W. Bush, even at a $300 billion dollar budget deficit, still beats every other president in history. The only one who was even close was his dad.
The interest on this debt in one year's time is more than we spend for our troops in Iraq. The worst part of this debt is who we owe it to. China owns a big part of it and the amount is growing. When you owe someone a lot of money, they start to say what you can and can not do. That is happening now.
The massive debt President Bush and the Republican-led Congress, combined with our trade policies with China, are weakening this great country. Borrowing money from China to finance tax cuts for his rich friends does not make sense. It's a good thing ole GW wasn't president during the Cold War with Russia.
Isn't about time we held George W. Bush and his congressional stooges accountable for their actions???
