Well, here's how Senator John McCain reacted in 2005 when President George W. Bush was considering a recess appointment for John Bolton, the controversial nominee to be United Nations ambassador: "I would support it. It's the president's prerogative". But that's only true if you are a Republican according to John Boy McCain!  John Bolton was the United Nations ambassador, just in case you didn't know!
