A Place for Political Commentary on local and national issues. The point of view is mine because today neither major political party has America’s best interest at heart. Politicians on both sides of the Isle are corrupt, but even worse, most of them are morally bankrupt. You're welcome to comment.... On the whole, I prefer not to be lectured on patriotism by those who keep offshore mail drops in order to avoid paying their taxes.

Joseph McCarthy (R) U.S. Senator from Wisconsin (1947-1957)
A "politician" who served as a Republican U.S. Senator from the state of Wisconsin from 1947 until his death in 1957. McCarthy rose to national fame in February 1950 when he asserted in a speech that he had a list of "members of the Communist Party and members of a spy ring" who were employed in the State Department. McCarthy was never able to prove his sensational charges, but that didn't stop him! Who does "Joseph McCarthy" remind you of today?
