The only way to put a dent in the effect lobbyists (Corporate or special interest groups) is for the majority to be represented by bipartisan politicians. Never make the mistake that you will end all types of lobbying, but if the only way to pass anything is through bipartisanship then Republicans and Democrats will be part of the solution not the problem. Politicians are first, last, and always out for personal gain. If the only way they can gain is through the legislative process, then we will see just how bipartisan they can be.
It's about time the people become as vocal as the lobbyists. End the majority enjoyed by any party. In 2011 vote out every incumbent. If that's not enough, do it again until politicians on both sides of the isle hear you..
