A Place for Political Commentary on local and national issues. The point of view is mine because today neither major political party has America’s best interest at heart. Politicians on both sides of the Isle are corrupt, but even worse, most of them are morally bankrupt. You're welcome to comment.... On the whole, I prefer not to be lectured on patriotism by those who keep offshore mail drops in order to avoid paying their taxes.

Balance
I am not in favor of changing or repealing the Senate filibuster rule. Some will say that's crazy, I'm sure others will applaud. The majority of this country is not made up of Republicans, Democrats, Independents, or any other party or wannabe. We are divided now and have always been divided. Believe me when I say that's our strength. As I have said before, if you want to be heard, register, then vote. Not any party's ticket, but each individual. To succeed we must be a bipartisan nation. That means simply that no party is ever completely in charge. If we force those who represent us to compromise or do nothing, they will learn. Only when you teach them that it is in their best interest and yours for them to compromise will they show progress. I object to those who call us either red or blue states. It is not true, a majority may be colored red or blue, but only a majority of those who vote!
