A Place for Political Commentary on local and national issues. The point of view is mine because today neither major political party has America’s best interest at heart. Politicians on both sides of the Isle are corrupt, but even worse, most of them are morally bankrupt. You're welcome to comment.... On the whole, I prefer not to be lectured on patriotism by those who keep offshore mail drops in order to avoid paying their taxes.

Trains
Most Americans don't ride trains because they don't go as fast as we want them to go and they don't go where we want them to go. Fix both of these problems and maybe we will ride them more, but we are unlikely to ever ride them like the Japanese or the Europeans. Why? It's simple, we think we are in to much of a hurry and this country is far to vast to be covered by any train. The result is just another expense the government can't afford and the average American doesn't want.
