For more than 200 years local newspapers have been the source for both local and national news. It didn't matter if you read it in print or on line. Sadly that is no longer true. It has been blamed on the loss of advertising dollars and the inability of newspapers to replace those dollars. The result is that most newspapers are dying or are already dead. If real news is not important to you then the death of newspapers and more importantly the journalists who write for them doesn't matter to you. However, if by chance, you want real in depth news, that is not censored by anything except the truth, you must answer this problem. I don't have the answer yet, so, if you care as I do, then your comments are welcome.
Keep in mind that from CNN to the smallest local TV station, it's not about the news, it's all about the sound bite.
