Bush is actively pursuing policies that amount to "Social Darwinsim"

The GOP agenda for Social Security, public school vouchers and Medicare is for all practical purposes is "Social Darwinsim."

Social Darwinism is a social theory which holds that Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection is not only a model for the development of biological traits in a population, but can also be applied to human social institutions. Social Darwinisim first became popular in the late 19th century and continued in popularity until the end of World War II, though some claim that contemporary sociobiology could be classified as a form of Social Darwinism.

Proponents of Social Darwinism often use the theory to justify social inequality as being meritocratic. Others use it to justify racism and imperialism. To a certain extent, Social Darwinism appears to legitimize the pseudo-science of eugenics.
