BROOK PARK, Ohio - The 14 Marines killed in Iraq by a roadside bomb on Wednesday were members of the same Ohio-based battalion that lost six Marines two days earlier, and nine of them were from a single smaller unit in Columbus, Marine officials said.
Wonder how the Ohio Special election between Republican Jean Schmidt and Democrat Paul Hackett (war veteran who drew national attention to the race with his military service and a series of harsh attacks on President Bush) would have turned out if it were held today 8/3/2005 instead of yesterday???
