A Place for Political Commentary on local and national issues. The point of view is mine because today neither major political party has America’s best interest at heart. Politicians on both sides of the Isle are corrupt, but even worse, most of them are morally bankrupt. You're welcome to comment.... On the whole, I prefer not to be lectured on patriotism by those who keep offshore mail drops in order to avoid paying their taxes.

Republicans are attempting to legislate Morality! But "Who's Morality??”
Republicans have become "moral interventionists," who are more than happy to have the government involved in the so-called values agenda. A good example was the outrageous GOP attempt to intervene in the Terry Schiavo case in Florida.
