I’m of Scotch Irish decent with family names that include Campbell, Douglas, Wallace, Stuart, Fergusson, Lynch, and Wood. Genealogy has been a passion of mine since I learned that our first ancestor arrived at the Jamestown Colony in Virgina on or before 16 August 1627. He was a member of the carpenter's trade and one of the first to marry in Jamestown.
Five of my ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War and not a Torrie in the lot.
